Touch Studio: Create Windows Phone 7 App with Fingertips

Do you want to develop Windows Phone 7 Apps directly from the WP7 smartphones? If so, great news that the Research in Software Engineering team in Microsoft Research was released Touch Studio that allows you to develop mobile apps on your Windows Phone 7. As the name implies, the primary input method is the touch screen.

According to Microsoft Technet Blog, Touch Studio gives you a series of sample scripts, or templates, that correlate to a specific action. You can edit the various aspects of that action by tapping on the specific script twice, and then making the changes with an editor tool that looks much like a calculator.

Even though there are some limitations when we are dealing with a small device, their efforts have caught the attention of some people outside of Microsoft.

The Touch Studio is still in beta version, you can freely download it and start develop your Windows Phone 7 apps from your mobile devices.
