I have shown you how to update to the latest Windows 10 preview build 9926. The new build was released by Microsoft on Jan 23, 2015 which bring Cortana to Windows 10 desktop. The latest build also introduces new Start menu and user interface, directory icons on the Windows Explorer, new Settings interface and more.
In my previous post, I have shown you that my old Compaq Presario CQ42 was running Windows 10 Technical Preview (Build 9841). Most of apps are running well though lots of bugs are there since it is a technical preview operating system.
The purpose of creating the bootable Windows 10 USB flash drive is to install the new operating system into the real personal computer or laptop. As I have an old Compaq Presario CQ42 powered by Intel i5 and 4GB or RAM, I would like to install the Windows 10 into this notebook.

The upcoming Microsoft’s next Windows operating system is not Windows 9 but Windows 10. The technical preview of Windows 10 had been released on the end of September 2014, so users can download and try its look and feel.
