Zimbra Announced Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0
The Zimbra development team has announced Zimbra support for Blackberry Enterprise Server 5.0 will be generally available with the release of Zimbra Connector for BlackBerry Enterprise Server 6.5 (ZCB 6.5). It is planned to be released in the first half of Q4 or around October this year. By releasing this connector, it will be the first alternative to offer full support for the latest BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
RedStar Unveiled Linux-powered Tablet named Shogo
The Japanese manufacturer, RedStar, just started to receive pre-orders for its Linux-powered tablet, Shogo. The price is about 56,800 yen (US$665) including tax and shipping.
According to the official RedStar website, the tablet has dimension 268 mm x 168 mm x 16 mm with 0.8 kg weight. It is also powered by ARM processor: FreeScale iMX-37 (iMX-51 Cortex A8 2H2010), 256MB DDR, 4GB (NAND-Flash), and of-course the Linux operating system.

ViewSonic ‘Viewpad’ will run Windows 7 and Android OS
The Californian-based manufacturer, ViewSonic, will show of an Intel-based 10-inch tablet that will run dual-boot Windows and Android at IFA. They will also show of an Android-powered 7-inch tablet called ViewPad 7.
The 10-inch tablet will likely run Windows 7 and not the Windows CE. The dual-boot term might mean that it is capable to run on Windows 7 and Android. A very cool gadget.

1. Adding swap file on Linux
Login as root or change to super user then type the following command to create 1 GB swap file.
dd if=/dev/zero of=/swap1 bs=1M count=1024
