Google has announced that it has added a new content source to its real-time search feature: Facebook Pages.

Google launched real-time search in December, providing a real-time feed of information from Yahoo Answers, Twitter, blogs, news websites, and other sources for hot or trending search results.

After the first released for iPhone on mobile, Google Earth is now available on Android platform. In this release, Google is also introducing Roads layer in the new mobile version, you can add a road labels layer on top of the satellite imagery. Grab a copy of the software from Android Market if you are on Android OS 2.1.

So, it’s not DOCOMO or Rogers that becomes the first operator in the world to launch the first Sony Ericsson’s Android handset, Xperia X10. It’s Indonesia’s operator Indosat that will be the first to offer X10 on March 3-7 during Indosat Android Expo.

X10 will join other Android handsets (six in total) to be offered as counterpart for Telkomsel’s iPhone 3GS launching last week. Telkomsel and Indosat are the current country’s largest and second largest operators respectively. continue reading…

Chrome OS, the operating system that Google released to open source yesterday, has been compiled and posted for download on several file-sharing sites, Internet searches showed today.

The ready-to-run Chrome OS has appeared on several peer-to-peer BitTorrent tracking sites, including Mininova.org and Pirate Bay. The Gdgt Web site has also posted a free download of the Chrome OS disk image. Users must create an account with the site to access the download. continue reading…
